Semi-Private Training
All Eyes On You
2 players - 1 goal
Similar to the Individual training, we go over all the same details but you get to share the time with a friend, teammate or player of a similar age and skill set. Challenge each other and grow together through a series of unopposed, semi-opposed and fully opposed drills to sharpen your technique and execute your skills. Semi-opposed work or “dummy defending” is key for players to be able to grow in confidence using different skills. Improve your timing, footwork and strength by being able to hold players off while executing a turn or move. Finally, Semi Private Training lets us practice your skills in a fully opposed 1v1 situation. Either timed battles, point games or 1v1 duels, Intensity is always high when bragging rights are on the line.
Core Components of 2-Player training
How it works
Team Up to Level Up
Ball Mastery
In semi-private training sessions, players engage with dynamic ball mastery exercises that enhance their ability to control the ball and develop a reliable first touch. These exercises focus on refining footwork with both feet and sharpening game instincts, allowing players to handle the ball confidently in any situation. Ball mastery is fundamental for soccer players to improve their physical coordination. It’s in these sessions that players begin to display a smooth and polished technique during gameplay. Building confidence with the ball is crucial, as it lays the foundation for overall success on the field.
Skill moves/ body feints
Mastering the art of disguise in turns and outmaneuvering opponents is essential in soccer. Players will learn a variety of 1v1 moves tailored to different scenarios, whether facing the defender head-on, side-on, or with their back to goal. With a focus on understanding, precise footwork, and high-speed repetition, players build the confidence to off-balance defenders. The excitement of emulating their favorite soccer stars is harnessed as we teach the skills admired from the pros. Training at high speeds and combining multiple moves ensures players are prepared to confidently and effectively apply these techniques during games. These sessions are designed to help players seamlessly transition these skills into real match play.
Turns / change of directions
Players will focus on mastering three fundamental turns, which are essential for changing direction and escaping pressure during gameplay. Emphasizing proper footwork helps ensure they can maintain possession and create scoring opportunities. As players become proficient in these foundational turns, they’ll be challenged with increased speed, intensity, and pressure. With a solid understanding of these core movements, learning and executing additional turns becomes much easier. By practicing these turns with intensity, players will be well-prepared to confidently apply them in real game situations.
Ball Striking
Shooting is a favorite skill for many players, especially when they can strike the ball with power and precision. Players will learn to enhance their shooting by using different surfaces of their feet and mastering various volley techniques, all aimed at increasing their goal-scoring abilities. In addition, they’ll develop passing techniques designed to unlock defenses and break through pressure. It’s crucial to become comfortable shooting from different angles, and we ensure that all key spots on the pitch are covered. As players refine their technique, they’ll gain confidence in finding both the sweet spot on the ball and on their foot.
Speed and Intensity / Strength and Fitness
We believe that players can boost their strength and fitness while keeping the ball at their feet. By focusing on speed and intensity, players are pushed to execute explosive movements with the ball, engaging their ATP-CP and anaerobic energy systems. Since soccer is played at a high tempo, we challenge players to work quickly and efficiently. Incorporating plyometric exercises helps develop the necessary muscles and fitness levels to excel in game situations.
Position specific training (12 - 18+)
Each position on the field demands a unique set of skills. We focus on helping players develop the specific abilities required for their role. By familiarizing players with the patterns unique to their position, we create customized “go-to” plays that enhance their comfort and give them an advantage over the competition.

Frequently Asked questions
One extra person. The session design will be almost the same. Semi-private will include more semi-opposed work.
Yes, Players have different needs. This is amplified more as players' abilities and age gaps become larger. This can lead to spending too much attention on one player and the others not getting proper coaching and value in the session.
No, but training everyday will accelerate your development as long as you are able to stay injury free!
The most important thing is consistency. Some players have seen improvements after one session, others take a bit longer. Every player is different, this is why I ask for a 12 week commitment so everyone is able to see results for the work they put in.
