Individual Training
All Eyes On You
on-on-one Core skillset development
Your child’s growth, front and center. In our one-on-one sessions, every detail matters—whether it’s celebrating and reinforcing their strengths or identifying opportunities for improvement. Our technique-based philosophy, paired with a personalized approach, focuses on honing individual skills and techniques, ensuring that each session is tailored specifically to your child’s unique abilities. Through targeted exercises, we assess their technical skills and work together to enhance their strengths while adding new tools to their soccer toolkit. With control and precision as the cornerstone of development, individual training is largely unopposed work done at high intensities. This personalized training is designed to accelerate their development, boost confidence, and help them master the ball with precision and control.
Core Components of 1-on-1 training
How we work
Next Level control and capabilities
Ball Mastery
Using different dynamic ball mastery patterns, players improve the ability to move with the ball, also develop a confident first touch. These patterns will build players’ foot skills with both feet and game instincts to get them comfortable in all situations when the ball is at their feet. Ball mastery is key for soccer players to improve physical literacy. This is where the ability to be “smooth” and “polished” on the ball really comes out in the game. Confidence is key in the game. Having the confidence to dominate the ball will take you well on your way to dominating the game.
Turns / change of directions
We will go over 3 core turns during the program. These 3 turns are the foundations of all turns in the game. Learning the proper footwork to help you change direction and escape pressure is key to ball retention leading to goal scoring opportunities. Once the foundation is built, players will be challenged with speed, intensity and pressure. There are many different turns in the game that we will go over in 1:1 sessions. Once a player understands the footwork of the 3, any new turn will be simple as they will already have the footwork foundations in place. Working on turns in combinations with intensity will prepare players for the demands of the game and will be confident and comfortable when required to use a single one in a game situation.
Skill moves/ body feints
Disguise your turns, trick your check. Learn a series of 1v1 specific moves for different situations to off balance defenders. Moves for side on, facing the defender or back to goal, develop confidence through understanding, proper footwork, high speed and intensity repetition. Players love to mimic their heroes, and we love having the platform to give players the tools to beat their checks using the skill moves they see executed at the highest levels. We also train skill combinations at high speeds. If players can execute multiple moves with maximum effort, they will be confident and comfortable when required to use a single one a game situation.
Ball Striking
What player doesn’t love shooting? Especially when you can strike the ball well. Players will learn to strike the ball with more power and precise accuracy. Get familiar striking with all different surface areas of your feet and multiple different volley techniques to help players score more goals, as well as different passing techniques to unlock defenses and break pressure. It’s important to get comfortable shooting from many different angles and we make sure we cover all the best spots on the pitch. Players will become more confident and comfortable finding the sweet spot on the ball as well as the sweet spot on their foot.
Speed and Intensity / Strength and Fitness
Our philosophy is that players can increase strength and fitness with the ball at their feet. Using speed and intensity, players are challenged to perform explosive movements with the ball, challenging their atp-cp and anaerobic energy system. The game is played at a high tempo, so we challenge players to work quickly and efficiently. With plyometric movements, your player will be developing the right muscle and fitness to excel in a game situation.
Position specific training (12 - 18+)
Every position requires a different set of skills. We will work with you to help you develop all your position specific needs. Get used to different patterns in your specific part of the field. Design a or many “go to” play(s) to help your comfortability in your position giving you an edge over your opposition.
